Day 17: Humility Before Promotion Scripture: James 4:10 — “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.” (NIV) Devotional: God lifts up the humble, but pride can block His blessings. True promotion comes after a season of humility recognizing our dependence on God and serving others selflessly. Before any advancement, God calls us to a posture of surrender and humility. This prepares us to handle greater responsibilities with grace and wisdom. Are you willing to humble yourself today, trusting God to lift you at the right time? Prayer: Father, teach me humility and help me to trust Your timing for promotion. Keep my heart humble and focused on serving You and others. Amen.
