Fatigue and Fulfillment Don’t Always Go Hand in Hand
Description
On the way to Munich, an unexpected train stoppage led me to arrive at the airport far earlier than planned—leaving five quiet hours to wait. Sitting with a coffee, slightly tired but calm, I started thinking about the relationship between fatigue and fulfillment.
Being efficient and avoiding waste doesn’t always lead to a sense of satisfaction. At the same time, simply being exhausted doesn’t mean a day feels meaningful. Sometimes, arriving early, taking a small detour, or having unstructured time can make an experience feel more complete.
This episode reflects on how fulfillment may have less to do with efficiency or energy spent, and more to do with a quiet sense of acceptance—feeling that, in the end, this was the right way to move through the day.
