Ca: Els carrers de Barcelona brillaven amb llums de colors i ecos de música mentre La Mercè s'acomiadava una vegada més.
En: The streets of Barcelona shimmered with colorful lights and echoes of music as La Mercè bid farewell once again.
Ca: Martí i Laia caminaven cap a l'estació de tren, envoltats per la remor de la ciutat que, malgrat l'hivern, no semblava voler adormir-se mai.
En: Martí and Laia walked towards the train station, surrounded by the hum of the city that, despite winter, never seemed to want to sleep.
Ca: "Està preciosa, oi?" va dir Martí, assenyalant les garlandes que encara penjaven sobre el carrer.
En: "It's beautiful, isn't it?" said Martí, pointing to the garlands still hanging over the street.
Ca: Ell somiava despert.
En: He was daydreaming.

Ca: "No, Martí. Tens raó, crec que hem de trobar una altra manera de tornar. Un taxi, potser?"
En: "No, Martí. You're right, I think we need to find another way to get back. A taxi, maybe?"
Ca: Però Martí, sempre amant de l'improvisació, va insistir: "Mira, no podem fer res per canviar-ho ara mateix. Gaudim del que ens ofereix la nit."
En: But Martí, always a lover of improvisation, insisted: "Look, we can't do anything to change it right now. Let's enjoy what the night offers us."
Ca: Laia va sospirar, lluitant internament.
