Disclaimer: This episode was recorded on 26 October 2021, prior to our knowledge of an ongoing petition involving the case of Nagaenthran Dharmalingam. As local media coverage on the petition has been sparse, we felt this was the right time to air the episode to stimulate more conversations regarding the death penalty in Singapore.
Singapore is known for being one of the few countries that still practices the death penalty. But is it truly a fair punishment and/or effective deterrent?
