Carl and Mike open the show with their reaction to reports of John Harbaugh agreeing to become the Giants next head coach and share their thoughts on how the move may impact the Falcons head coach search if Harbaugh was their primary candidate. As they discuss, they agree at this point, regardless of the candidates the Falcons have interviewed and plan to interview, they "have to get the hire right" in order to shake the perception they always "play second fiddle".
