Description

Disturbing numbers are being reported from Iran’s protests. According to the London-based outlet Iran International, at least 12,000 people have been killed. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump says he’s been told by “important sources” that Iran has stopped killing anti-regime protesters. This comes as the president weighs possible U.S. military intervention in Iran.

The president is also renewing his vow to acquire Greenland, calling anything less than Greenland in U.S. hands “unacceptable.” He cites national security risks, warning the territory could otherwise fall under the influence of Russia and China.

The United States is pausing all visa processing for 75 countries, including Somalia, Russia, Nigeria, Cuba, Pakistan, and Thailand. The pause is set to begin Jan. 21 and will continue indefinitely, as the state department reassess its screening and vetting procedures.
