Reports say more than 3,000 people have been killed. And yet here in the West, there has been a striking silence, especially among many progressives and activist circles, such as the UK's Jeremy Corbyn and Zarah Sultana. Jon Levine says the lack of solidarity from campus movements and liberal politicians says as much about Western politics as it does about Iran’s brutal reality, and that the world would be in a much more dangerous place if Kamala Harris was in charge instead of President Trump's gut.
