Story Transcript:

Hr: Krešo je sjedio za svojim stolom, gledajući promrzle snježne pahulje kroz staklene zidove ureda.
En: Krešo sat at his desk, watching the frostbitten snowflakes through the glass walls of the office.

En: It was just after the New Year frenzy, when everyone was returning to work.

En: The office was modern, with shiny desks and spacious work areas.

Hr: Ipak, unatoč hladnom vremenu vani, u Kreši su ključale emocije.
En: Yet, despite the cold weather outside, emotions were boiling within Krešo.

En: His problem was simple, yet catastrophic.

En: He had sent an email about his secret crush on his colleague Marina, not just to her, but to the entire office.

Hr: Srce mu je preskočilo kad je shvatio pogrešku.
En: His heart skipped a beat when he realized the mistake.

En: Krešo was a junior analyst, ambitious and often career-focused, but now this gaffe could cost him dearly.

En: Marina was a cheerful and capable project manager, always warm and kind to everyone.

En: Until now, she was unaware of Krešo's feelings, and he wanted it to stay that way—for now, at least.

En: Luka, their colleague, was a technical expert, but also a master of teasing.

Hr: "Slušaj, Luka", započne Krešo gotovo molećivim tonom, "moraš mi pomoći. Poslao sam e-mail cijelom uredu o Marini."
En: "Listen, Luka," Krešo began in an almost pleading tone, "you have to help me. I sent an email to the whole office about Marina."

Hr: Luka je podigao obrvu, smiješeći se. "Stvarno? To je gotovo umjetnički."
En: Luka raised an eyebrow, smiling. "Really? That's almost artistic."

En: "It's not funny!" Krešo was desperate. "The system doesn't allow email recall. You have to help me with a plan to prevent Marina from reading that email."

En: Luka leaned on the top of his desk, looking at Krešo with an expression that always suggested amusement and interest.

Hr: "Hmm, možda možeš pokušati s nekom distrakcijom. Bolje da požurimo, trenutak je kritičan."
En: "Hmm, maybe you can try some distraction. We'd better hurry; the moment is critical."

En: As they talked, the office system suddenly crashed. A technical fault.

Hr: Računala i e-mailovi više nisu radili.
En: Computers and emails were no longer working. People gathered in smal
