Story Transcript:

Sk: Pod snehovou prikrývkou leží tichá komunita pri Vysokých Tatrách, ako biela rozprávka.
En: Under a blanket of snow, a quiet community near the Vysoké Tatry lies like a white fairytale.

Sk: Drevo v kachliach starých domčekov praská, zatiaľ čo ľudia za zamrznutými oknami sedia pri teplom čaji.
En: Wood crackles in the stoves of old houses, while people sit by the warm tea behind frosted windows.

Sk: V tejto zasneženej idyle Marek a Lenka vstúpili do domu, ktorý kedysi patril ich babičke.
En: In this snowy idyll, Marek and Lenka stepped into the house that once belonged to their grandmother.

Sk: Marek, praktický a trošku skeptický, chytil kľučku dverí s úctou.
En: Marek, pragmatic and a bit skeptical, grasped the doorknob with respect.

Sk: Preňho to bola brána do minulosti, plná rodinných osláv a smiechu.
En: For him, it was a gateway to the past, filled with family celebrations and laughter.

Sk: Lenka mala jasné plány.
En: Lenka had clear plans.

Sk: Uvažovala o renovácii domu, aby ho predala a získala financie na nový začiatok.
En: She was considering renovating the house to sell it and gain finances for a fresh start.

Sk: „Marek, musíme sa na to pozerať realisticky,“ povedala Lenka, keď prechádzali cez starú obývačku.
En: "Marek, we have to look at this realistically," Lenka said as they walked through the old living room.

Sk: „Dom potrebuje veľa práce. Predaj by nám dal šancu na niečo nové.“
En: "The house needs a lot of work. Selling it would give us a chance for something new."

Sk: Marek sa zastavil.
En: Marek stopped.

Sk: Pozrel na poličku so starými fotografiami, kde bola ich babička s nimi ako deťmi.
En: He looked at the shelf with old photographs, where their grandmother was with them as children.

Sk: „Je to naša rodinná pamiatka, Lenka. Možno raz to bude miesto pre naše deti,“ povedal Marek ticho.
En: "It's our family keepsake, Lenka. Maybe one day it will be a place for our children," Marek said quietly.

Sk: Lenka prešla po starom koberci, ktorý si pamätala z detstva.
En: Lenka walked over the old carpet she remembered from childhood.

Sk: „Máš pravdu, ale... možno môžeme urobiť oboje?“
En: "You're right, but... maybe we can do both?"

Sk: Diskusia pokračovala, až kým ich nezastavila vonkajšia metelica.
En: The discussion continued until an outside blizzard stopped them.

Sk: Vietor vyfúkol ich spomienky na chlad.
En: The wind blew their memories into the cold.

Sk: Bežali naspäť do útulného tepla kuchyne.
En: They ran back to the cozy warmth of the kitchen.

Sk: „Pozri, čo som našla!“ zvolala Lenka, keď z jednej zo zásuviek vyhrabala starý zápisník.
En: "Look what I found!" Lenka exclaimed, as she pulled an old notebook from one of the drawers.

Sk: Babkin ručný zápisník, pokrytý pachom minulosti.
En: Their grandmother's handwritten notebook, covered with the scent of the past.

Sk: Obsahoval rodinné príbehy, recepty na koláče a háčkované vzory.
En: It contained family stories, cake recipes, and crochet patterns.

Sk: Sedeli spolu, prezerali si stránky a smiali sa nad poznámkami napísanými babkinou rukou.
En: They sat together, flipping through the pages and laughing at the notes written in their grandmother's hand.

Sk: „Naša história je tu,“ povedal Marek dojatý.
En: "Our history is here," Marek said, touched.
