In the last week, Donald Trump has announced two major populist economic initiatives. The president plans to ban the purchase of residential real estate by large corporations and charging more than 10% interest on credit cards. The credit card initiative has received a significant amount of pushback from conservative commentators referring to it as socialist economics. Matthew Williams joins me to disuses the wisdom of the policy and whether Trump will be able to make it a reality.
