Stomach cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow in the stomach lining, often without noticeable symptoms in the early stages. Signs such as indigestion, early fullness, unexplained weight loss, nausea, and upper-abdominal discomfort are often ignored, leading to late diagnosis. Risk factors include H. pylori infection, smoking, unhealthy diet, obesity, and family history. 

Diagnosis is usually done through endoscopy, biopsy, and imaging tests. Treatment may involve surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or immunotherapy depending on the stage. Early detection and healthy lifestyle choices play a key role in improving outcomes.
