2 O'clock Hour :00 - Carl and Mike open up with Falcons talk as they react to the team announcing they have hired Matt Ryan as the president of football and share thoughts on why they believe Ryan is going to be good for the job, agreeing the former Atlanta QB will be dedicated to turning the franchise around and the team will likely be most successful in his new role if they allow him to be 'the one voice'. :20 – Carl and Mike get into some football talk as they agree most of the games from the NFL Wild Card weekend produced some great football with Mike adding he believes the AFC is wide open. They then get into some Hawks talk and discuss, while it be a small sample size, whether the Hawks three games win streak is a result of them being able to play better without Trae Young. :40 – Carl and Mike get back to Falcons talk and share thoughts on what Matt Ryan's responsibilities as president of football should include, which they agree the team should allow their former franchise QB to should too many responsibilities and should more so have the final say that the eventual general manager and head coach make in regards to player and coaching personnel.
