President Donald Trump vows that any country doing business with Iran will face a 25 percent U.S. tariff. This comes as the president warns he may carry out strikes against Iran over its violent crackdown on anti-regime protests. A human rights group says the death toll from the unrest has now risen to 572.
Trump is set to meet with the Venezuelan opposition leader later this week, as the administration warns Americans in Venezuela to “leave the country immediately.”
Immigration law enforcement operations are not slowing down in Minnesota. Last week, 2,000 federal agents were sent to the state, with more expected this week. The Department of Homeland Security says agents faced 10 car-ramming attacks last week. The state of Minnesota and the Twin Cities are now suing the Trump administration, with Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison calling the recent immigration law enforcement operations a “federal invasion.”
