Renowned as a cultural icon of Laramie nightlife, it is often called the city's "legendary good-time headquarters".Longtime locals Trevor and Trinity Thatcher purchased the bar in 2025 and have since conducted renovations, while preserving the building's historic heart.The Cowboy is famous for hosting both local and national country acts. It is credited with helping launch the career of Wyoming country star Chancey Williams.
