Clare EV Sales Up 60% In 2025

Description
The number of electric vehicles sold in Clare rose by 61% last year.
New figures from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry show there were 390 electric vehicles sold in this county in 2025.
There were marked declines in combustion engine sales, with Petrol and Diesel falling of by 16% and 23% respectively.
SIMI Director General Brian Cooke says it was a record year for the industry.
