Leviticus 5-9 - Sacrifices and the High Priest
Season 5
Episode 87
Published 9 months, 1 week ago
Description
Why does holiness require sacrifice? In Leviticus 5–9, God teaches Israel that every offering points to His holiness and to our need for a mediator. Pastor Paul shows how the sin, guilt, and peace offerings reveal both the seriousness of sin and the mercy of a God who makes forgiveness accessible to everyone. You’ll see how Aaron’s ordination as high priest foreshadows Jesus—our perfect High Priest—who intercedes for us once for all. These chapters remind us that holiness still matters, and that only Christ makes us clean before God.
