Story Transcript:
Cy: Roedd diwrnod oer o aeaf yn Amgueddfa Werin Cymru Sain Ffagan.
En: It was a cold winter day at the Amgueddfa Werin Cymru Sain Ffagan (St Fagans National Museum of History).
Cy: Roedd y coed wedi'u gorchuddio â haen denau o eira, gan wneud y lle yn edrych fel rhywbeth o stori dylwyth teg.
En: The trees were covered in a thin layer of snow, making the place look like something out of a fairy tale.
Cy: Roedd y mwg o losgfynyddoedd lle tân dan do yn hyfryd a thyner.
En: The smoke from the indoor fireplaces was lovely and gentle.
Cy: Roedd Gareth a Carys, brawd a chwaer o Gaerdydd, yn cerdded trwy fynedfa'r amgueddfa.
En: Gareth and Carys, a brother and sister from Caerdydd (Cardiff), were walking through the museum entrance.
Cy: Ymlafnodd pelydrau heulog gwelw drwy'r cwbl a oedd i'w weld yn rhyfeddol i Gareth, wrth iddynt bwyso am bethau i'w gweld.
En: Pale sunlight beams edged through everything that appeared marvelous to Gareth as they lingered over things to see.
Cy: Roedd St. Dwynwen gyda'i chariad i'r cariadon ar y niwsans, a theimlodd Gareth fel bod y tynged hon yn cysylltu'r dydd.
En: St. Dwynwen was with her lover for the lovers on the nuisance, and Gareth felt like this destiny connected the day.
Cy: "Mae'n braf dod yma, heddiw," meddai Gareth, ei lais yn dawel.
En: "It's nice to be here today," said Gareth, his voice quiet.
Cy: Roedd yn gweld y cyfle i atgyweirio'r cwlwm aeth yn rhy llac dros y blynyddoedd.
En: He saw the opportunity to repair the bond that had become too loose over the years.
Cy: Roedd Carys, ei chwaer, yn chwerthin gan gynnig adlais:
En: Carys, his sister, echoed with a laugh:
Cy: "Ydy, mae mor hardd yma! Pawb sydd wedi cael cymaint o brysurdeb, ond mae'n lovely cael diwrnod fel hyn gyda'n brawd." Goleuchodd ei llygaid am ennyd.
En: "Yes, it's so beautiful here! Everyone has been so busy, but it's lovely to have a day like this with my brother." Her eyes sparkled for a moment.
Cy: Roedd hi'n mor fywiog a heulog.
En: She was so lively and sunny.
Cy: Roeddent yn crwydro o amgylch yr arddangosion, gan dynnu ymlaen trwy straeon a hanesion yr hen fyd, yng nghefn pacyn treftadaeth Cymru.
En: They wandered around the exhibits, drawing forward through the stories and histories of the old world, in the backdrop of the Welsh heritage pack.
Cy: Cawsant hyd i'r arddangosfa o hen farddoniaeth Gymreig.
En: They found the display of old Welsh poetry.
Cy: Roedd serch a chariad yn rhedeg drwy'r geiriau, fel ffenestr i'r gorffennol.
En: Love and affection ran through the words, like a window to the past.
Cy: Wnaeth Gareth orfodi i sefyll.
En: Gareth was forced to stand still.
Cy: "Carys, wyt ti’n meddwl...?" dechreuodd Gareth, gan orffen ei feddwl yn ddistaw.
En: "Carys, do you think...?" Gareth began, finishing his thought silently.
Cy: Mae’n tynnu llun hanes henach, stori o daid y teulu.
En: It pulls a picture of older history, a story of their family’s grandfather.
Cy: "Beth wyt ti ddim yn dweud?" Gwenodd Carys, yn chwilio am understanding.
En: "What aren't you saying?" Carys smiled, seeking understanding.
Cy: "Dw i'n meddwl am y pethau rydyn ni'n golli os nad ydydyn ni'n rhannu chwerthin a cherddoriaeth."
En: "I’m thinking about the things we lose if we don't share laughter and music."
Cy: "Carys, mae'n wych treulio amser gyda chdi. Rydw i'n teiml
