Nl: De wind blies koud langs de straten van Rotterdam.
En: The wind blew coldly along the streets of Rotterdam.

Nl: Het was een heldere winterdag en de Euromast stond trots tegen de ijzige lucht.
En: It was a clear winter day, and the Euromast stood proudly against the icy sky.

Nl: Het was Nieuwjaarsdag en de stad was levendig met markten en feestvieringen.
En: It was New Year's Day and the city was lively with markets and celebrations.

Nl: De bomen waren kaal, en in de lucht zweefde de geur van versgebakken oliebollen.
En: The trees were bare, and the air was filled with the scent of freshly baked oliebollen.
