When something good happens we must have shukr or Gratitude, and when something bad happens we must still have shukr or gratitude to Allah SWT. Having shukr is a huge blessing from Allah. Every time something happens we have to see this calamity or that calamity as a recognition of His mercy, his generosity, and his kindness. Allah (SWT) reminds us in the Quran, "If you are grateful, I will surely increase you in favor" [Quran 14:7]. Allah Specifically speaks about those who prioritize gratitude over ingratitude. you know, gratitude is an act of worship which means that it is an opportunity to receive more blessings.
