Tip #5 to Help You Find Meaning in Your Work

Published 6 days, 16 hours ago
Description

Today, we are talking about Tip #5 for helping you find meaning in your work, which is:  What’s Really Important?

If there is some aspect of your work that is causing disharmony or a struggle, it’s worth examining what’s really important. At the heart of disharmony is the fact that some aspect of your life or career is not in alignment with who you really are and what you really want (your core values). Ask yourself these questions: What are you being forced to give up in order to gain something else (and is it really giving up something that is serving you anyway – probably not)? How important is what you’re giving up to you? Is it worth it? It’s possible that minor tweaks or small changes to your personal and professional life could make it possible for you to find the real meaning and passion in your work again.
