Hr: Ana je bila u školi u Zagrebu kada su prve pahulje počele lepršati.
En: Ana was at school in Zagreb when the first snowflakes began to flutter.

Hr: Zima je stigla, a s njom i užurbani ritam života.
En: Winter had arrived, bringing with it the hectic pace of life.

Hr: Škola je bila okružena snijegom prekrivenim ulicama.
En: The school was surrounded by snow-covered streets.

Hr: Ana je znala da morala donijeti važnu odluku.
En: Ana knew she had to make an important decision.

Hr: Nakon zadnjeg školskog sata, Ana je susrela Ivana i Maju.
En: After the last school lesson, Ana met Ivan and Maja.

Hr: "Gdje ideš, Ana?
En: "Where are you going, Ana?"

Hr: " upitao je Ivan.
En: Ivan asked.

Hr: Ana je uzdahnula: "Moram na tržnicu.
En: Ana sighed, "I have to go to the market.

Hr: Na trenutak je zadrhtala od hladnoće i briga.
En: For a moment, she shivered from the cold and worry.

Hr: Zatim se sjetila: projekt bi joj mogao donijeti stipendiju, što bi dugoročno pomoglo njezinoj obitelji.
