MALDEF (The Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund) President and General Counsel, Thomas Saenz discusses his thoughts about why we are seeing a targeted effort to remove Latinos from the US. It's not just the deportation raids but a systematic approach to marginalize and disenfranchise the fastest growing voting block - Latinos. Saenz, with strong evidence believes the political right is trying to disempower the Latino community and as a means to win elections and keep political power. the immigration raids are a means to do just that.
