Episode Details

We trace Exodus 22 through authority, holiness, generosity, truth, and mercy, urging believers to suffer for Christ rather than for partisanship and to keep the pulpit fixed on the gospel. We challenge delay in giving, crowd-driven ethics, and false reports, and close with the sobering truth that God will not justify the wicked.

• honoring rulers while preaching Christ above politics
• giving firstfruits without delay
• being holy men unto God in conduct and conviction
• refusing false reports and corrupt witness
• not following the crowd to do evil
• practicing mercy toward an enemy’s property
• keeping far from false matters and unjust gain
• remembering God will not justify the wicked; Christ alone saves
