On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the Henry County Iowa Board of Supervisors Work Session at the Henry County Courthouse in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The agenda consisted on conducting three interviews with candidates for the open position on the Henry County Iowa Board of Health. You will see interviews with candidates: Gloria Fear, Bryan Messer, and William Grimm. All three candidates had valuable experience. So much so, that Supervisor Marc Lindeen put out the thought of adding more members to the Board of Health. Public Health Director Katie Reuter and Chairman of the Henry County Board of Health Lois Roth did not see the value in that suggestion. The Supervisors ultimately come down to who they believe the best candidate is and appoint that person for the position. Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
