Andrew Walworth, Carl Cannon and RCP White House correspondent Phil Wegmann discuss the fifth anniversary of January 6th, and President Trump’s meeting today with House Republicans to discuss the 2026 congressional agenda. Then, Alexander B. Gray, CEO of American Global Strategies and deputy assistant for the national security council in the first Trump administration, joins them to discuss Venezuela opposition leader Maria Machado and the political future of Venezuela and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller’s statement yesterday that Greenland should “be part of” the United States. Finally, the team discusses yesterday’s announcement that the the board of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CBP) has voted to shutter the organization, after Congress cut its federal funding.
