Cassidy on hot seat as "emotionless" Golden Knights fall in Chicago in OT

Episode 1278 Published 1 week, 6 days ago
Description

The Golden Knights are suffering through a franchise low nine game stretch in which they have won just once at 1-5-3.  Bruce Cassidy cited his team's lack of emotion following yet another overtime loss, this time in Chicago, 3-2.  Cassidy said "enough is enough" in the post-game presser. He feels that he can only do so much when it comes to accountability and locker room leaders have to step up.  VGK has had a lot of injuries this season as Shea Theodore and Braydon McNabb remain week to week.  Adin Hill and William Karlsson remain out.  The Golden Knights fell to Chicago 3-2 in overtime Sunday as Tyler Bertuzzi scored the hat trick for the Blackhawks. This came after VGK dropped a 4-3 decision to the St. Louis Blues.  On deck, the road trip continues as VGK skates in Winnipeg against the Jets Tuesday night.
