Af: Die voëltjies het gelag in die bome langs die smal strate van Stellenbosch.
En: The birds laughed in the trees along the narrow streets of Stellenbosch.
Af: Kinders het tussen die blare rondgehardloop en klokkies het in die verte gelui.
En: Children ran around among the leaves and bells rang in the distance.
Af: Aan die einde van een van die boomryke strate het Pieter en Anika geloop.
En: At the end of one of the tree-lined streets, Pieter and Anika walked.
Af: Hulle was stil, elk vasgevang in hul gedagtes.
En: They were silent, each caught up in their thoughts.
