Sl: V Ljubljani, v mirni soseski, so bile hiše pokrite z belo odejo snega.
En: In Ljubljana, in a quiet neighborhood, the houses were covered with a white blanket of snow.

Sl: Zimsko jutro je bilo sveže in hladno.
En: The winter morning was fresh and cold.

Sl: Na ulico sta prišla Tanja in Matic, oba oborožena z lopatami.
En: Tanja and Matic came out onto the street, both armed with shovels.

Sl: Vsak je čistil svojo dovozno pot pred hišo.
En: Each was clearing their driveway in front of the house.

Sl: Tanja je bila mlada profesionalka, ki se je pred kratkim preselila sem.
En: Tanja was a young professional who had recently moved here.
