Good news! The U.S. has ANOTHER country to run now. The U.S. attacked Venezuela in the early morning of January 3rd, and kidnapped President Nicholas Maduro and his wife.

They are now being sent to New York City to face terrorism and drug trafficking charges. Er....what?! Meanwhile Trump says the U.S. will 'run Venezuela' and its oil infrastructure. Quite the isolationist, "America First", peace president huh?

Francesca and Wajahat Ali break down the latest, look at the piss-poor response from leading Democrats, and give some much-needed context to the Maduro government and the long history of U.S. intervention in Latin America.
