Jan. 1, near Alma School Road and Southern Avenue, a fatal shooting occurred at an apartment complex. Officers responded to reports of shots fired and found 35-year-old Richard Garcia suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital where he died. FOX 10 Phoenix reports 18-year-old Robert Garcia, related to the victim, was arrested and accused of second-degree murder following an argument. Arrest made.
