Ja: 渋谷の交差点は、まるで人の波が押し寄せる海のようでした。
En: The Shibuya crossing was like a sea with waves of people surging through.

Ja: 冬の冷たい風が、そこを歩く人々の頬を赤く染めます。
En: The cold winter wind turned the cheeks of the people walking there red.

Ja: 新年の始まりを祝うために、たくさんの人がお買い物に出かけ、新しい年を迎える準備をしていました。
En: Many people went out shopping to celebrate the beginning of the new year, preparing to welcome it.
