Ohio State Transfer News: Veteran RB James Peoples Enters Transfer Portal
Published 10 months ago
Description
James Peoples, who opened the 2025 Ohio State football season as one of the Buckeyes' top running backs, has entered his name into the Transfer Portal.
Peoples rushed for 344 yards and three touchdowns for the Buckeyes in 2025, including a highlight reel hurdle against the UCLA Bruins, but gradually lost playing time to true freshmen Bo Jackson and Isaiah West over the course of the season.
So where does the departure of Fields and Sam Dixon, and the graduation of CJ Donaldson leave the Buckeyes at running back moving forward? In this episode of the Buckeyes TomOrrow Morning podcast, host Tom Orr discusses what could be next for Carlos Locklyn's room.
