Description
Bucket 2: Just Water, Just Soap
Scripture:
Luke 16:10 “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.” (NIV)
Devotional:
Sometimes, the simplest tasks hold the greatest lessons the first bucket might only have water and soap nothing fancy but it’s the beginning of a clean, polished finish. Faithfulness in unimportant things matters deeply to God. Jesus teaches that those who are trustworthy in little are trustworthy in much. It’s a call to integrity in the “small stuff” the quiet moments when no one is watching, the tasks others might overlook or consider insignificant. These moments shape our character and readiness for bigger responsibilities. If you find yourself in a season of small tasks or unnoticed efforts, remember God is shaping you. Your faithfulness is noticed and honored by Him. Keep doing the “just water, just soap” things well; they are your training ground for greater things to come.
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to be faithful in the small things and to find joy in simple acts of service. Help me grow in integrity as I trust you with every step. Amen
