In this Extra Shot, Cody looks at the biblical pattern of the in-between — Israel in the wilderness, David waiting for the throne, and the disciples waiting for the Spirit. These seasons can feel like delay, but Scripture repeatedly shows God using them to expose what we trust, refine our identity, and prepare us for what comes next.
This episode also challenges the idea that a new year is a spiritual reset button. God’s mercies are new every morning, and His work is not limited by the calendar. The invitation is not to force a new beginning, but to stay faithful while God is still forming you.
The in-between is not wasted time.
It may be where God is doing some of His deepest work.
