Cy: Canodd y cloch wrth y drws, a Gareth yn sefyll tu allan i'r orsaf heddlu yng Nghaerdydd.
En: The bell rang at the door, and Gareth stood outside the police station in Cardiff.

Cy: Roedd yn dal i lenwi â chyffro, er bod bore'r Flwyddyn Newydd yn codi gerfydd y dydd.
En: He was still filled with excitement, despite the New Year's morning rising on the day.

Cy: Roedd y dŵr tawdd o'r eira tynnwyd i mewn i'r orsaf, gan greu siâp o batrwm gwlyb ar y llawr.
