Christina Formella, a former special education teacher and soccer coach from South Downers Grove, Illinois, faces more than 50 felony charges related to allegations that she groomed and sexually abused a teenage boy. Formella's case is slowly moving through the courts in DuPage County. Prosecutors have claimed Formella started grooming the boy when he was 14 and sexually abused him in her classroom and at her home.
