The Buffalo Sabres walked into Dallas with a nine game win streak and left with a ten game win streak, led by a super performance by Tage Thompson. Tage leads the way with two goals and an assist, including the most impressive wrist shot we've seen from a Sabre all season. Sneaky Joe breaks down Tage's game, along with Noah Ostlund who made a big impact, Bo Byram who scored his ninth goal of the year to give the Sabres the lead in the second period, and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stepping up. UPL is on fire with three straight starts allowing just one goal. Which is especially huge due to the injury to Alex Lyon.

The numbers also show that the Sabres straight up outplayed the Dallas Stars, one of the best teams in the NHL, in their own building. The Sabres penalty kill completely stifled the Stars elite powerplay. Alex Tuch and Ryan McLeod looked like two elite NFL safeties covering space when on the PK.
