The Lakers close out 2025 with a matchup against the Detroit Pistons. And with LeBron James (17 points on 6-17 shooting, including 3-10 from 3) looking every bit like the 41 years he turned on Tuesday, the Lakers also looked old and slow as they fell behind early and despite coming back in the third quarter to tie the game, the Pistons easily tuned up their engine and blew smoke in LA's faces in the fourth quarter to get an easy 128-106 victory over the Lakers.
