Ja: 雪がしんしんと降る横須賀海軍基地。
En: Snow falls softly on the Yokosuka Naval Base.
Ja: 冬の冷たい風が吹き、手袋をしても指先が冷たくなる。
En: The cold winter wind blows, and even with gloves on, fingertips feel chilly.
Ja: アキラはマフラーを顔に巻いて、待合室で震えながら立っていた。
En: Akira wraps his scarf around his face and stands shivering in the waiting room.
Ja: その隣には、友人のユミが寄り添って立っている。
En: Next to him, his friend Yumi stands close by.
Ja: 二人とも、アキラのパートナー、ケンジが乗る船が帰ってくるのを待っていた。
En: Both of them are waiting for Akira's partner, Kenji, whose ship is returning.
