Peoria Begins Major Lake Pleasant Parkway Transportation Project
Description
The City of Peoria has begun a major transportation improvement project along Lake Pleasant Parkway, from Loop 303 to approximately 1,000 feet north of the Central Arizona Project Canal. This project will widen Lake Pleasant Parkway to three lanes in each direction, improving traffic flow, safety, and long-term mobility in one of Peoria’s fastest-growing areas. This project also includes the following infrastructure upgrades: A widened bridge over the CAP Canal New bike lanes, sidewalks, curb, and gutter Streetlights and enhanced drainage improvements Extension of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems Utility interconnects, dry utilities, and landscaping within a raised median...
