Our Lord Jesus calls Christians to become trained in good doctrine. “If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed.” (1 Timothy 4:6) Doctrine means teaching. Each chapter of this book focuses on one doctrine connected to justification. These doctrines are paraphrased from Chapter 11: Of Justification, in the Second London Baptist Confession of Faith (1689)
