Cs: Večerní Praha se třpytila zimním chladem, když kolem Vltavy tančily sněhové vločky.
En: Evening Prague glittered with winter chill as snowflakes danced around the Vltava.

Cs: Karlův most byl plný lidí, kteří se radovali a slavili příchod nového roku.
En: Charles Bridge was full of people who were rejoicing and celebrating the arrival of the new year.

Cs: Každý krok na mostě přinesl jiný příběh.
En: Every step on the bridge brought a different story.

Cs: Ladislav, muž srdcem romantik, kráčel podél zábradlí, a v kapse měl dopis.

Cs: Ladislav, šokovaný, natáhl ruku.
En: Ladislav, shocked, reached out his hand.

Cs: "Proč jsi ho měla, Petro?"
En: "Why did you have it, Petra?"

Cs: Petra se zachvěla.
En: Petra shivered.

Cs: "Protože ti chci říct... abys byl šťastný.
En: "Because I want to tell you... to be happy.
