During the holidays, an auction took place. One which saw McLaren Racing generate nearly $20m in selling off examples of its Formula One car, its 2027 WEC car and its 2026 Indycar chassis. In the case of the F1 car, the MCL40A, it manifested $11.4m...even though it doesn't exist yet...and the customer will not receive ownership proper until 2028 when the car itself becomes irrelevant and may or may not be successful for either Oscar Piastri or Lando Norris of the team itself.

Whatever happens, the team made a lot of money through something normies don't understand...and the new owners get access and status in a world first purchase for Zak Brown. What's going on?
