Veterans fought for us, it's time we fight for them. This week, we have Raphael on Rethinking Freedom to share his story and experience serving the nations veterans.

Raphael Garcia is a servant leader, strategic thinker, and advocate for community development with over 11 years of leadership and management experience. He is a U.S. Army Veteran (former Army Engineer Officer) and former Management Analyst for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He also currently serves as a Planning Commissioner and Community Court Advisory Board member for the City of Olympia. He has an academic background in Geological Engineering (M.S. at Missouri University of Science and Technology) and Biology (B.S. at Maryville University of Saint Louis) and is a full-time MBA student at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. He specializes in data-driven decision-making, policy compliance, and strategic program development. Passionate about equity and sustainability, he has collaborated with over 60 nonprofit organizations as he seeks to continue driving impactful community initiatives nationwide.
