One of 250 Shelby Super Snakes For Sale With 750 Miles and One Big Issue

Super 'Stang

The Ford Mustang's iconic status is undoubtedly one of the things most people generally agree on. Generation after generation has garnered fans and a following, and tuning companies have also used it as a platform to showcase their skills.

One of the first to enhance the Mustang is a company equally as storied as the car itself – Shelby American. Shelby and Ford go way back, dating back to the '60s when they started collaborating, winning Le Mans with the GT40. In the years that followed, Shelby created the Shelby GT500, a souped-up Mustang, and it bred a more extreme Super Snake edition.

Venomous Snake

The Super Snake model name has always been reserved for the most extreme Shelby Mustang creations. It debuted in 1967 as a one-off creation, but was eventually put into production in 2007 and returned in 2024 for the Mustang.

One of the 2024 Ford Mustang Shelby Super Snakes is for sale on Cars and Bids. This listing is finished in a very pleasing Oxford White with black accents on the exterior, including the racing stripe, carbon fiber pieces, and the rear wing.

The 2024 Super Snake, living up to its name, delivers the customary ultra-muscle-car power. Under the hood is a 5.0-liter supercharged V8 that makes 830 venomous horsepower, which is shifted through a (joy of joys) 6-speed manual transmission.

Here are the Shelby American parts listed as included in the 2024 Super Snake:

Mechanical:

  • Whipple supercharger system
  • One-piece driveshaft
  • Upgraded half shafts
  • Borla exhaust system
  • Shelby extreme cooling system
  • Shelby suspension system
  • Upgraded brake rotors
  • Short throw shifter

Exterior:

  • 20-inch forged magnesium wheels
  • Aluminum hood with hood pin locks
  • Carbon fiber widebody kit
  • Carbon fiber rear wing
  • Super Snake striping and badging

Interior:

  • Shelby interior upgrade
  • Shifter ball
  • Super Snake door sill plates
  • Serialized dash plaque

Just the Fax

While on paper (and in photos), this listing is clean, the Carfax report states this Super Snake was declared a total loss by an insurance company due to water damage in July 2025 and was later issued a salvage/flood-damage title.

However, this particular rebuild seems to be in good order; it also has a listed mileage of only 750 miles, which is very low, and only 250 Super Snakes were made for the S650 Mustang generation, a true rarity. Currently, its bid is at $64,000 with just two days left on the clock.
