Supernatural Music Extravaganza: A Mixtape 20 Years in the Making
Description
Supernatural turns 20! Two fandom podcasts team up to explore the music of SPN with Ben Edlund, Chris Lennertz, Billy Moran, & more, over 20 interviews total!
On September 13, 2005, The WB aired the pilot of a show about two brothers, a ‘67 Impala, and a cassette collection full of classic rock. Twenty years later, Supernatural is still one of TV’s most beloved cult hits, and its music is a huge part of why.
To celebrate the Supernatural 20th anniversary, Denim-wrapped Nightmares and In Defense of Fandom are crossing over for the Supernatural Music Extravaganza: a limited podcast series exploring the music of Supernatural on screen, behind the scenes, and far beyond the show itself.
3 podcasters. 10 episodes. 20+ interviews. 1 epic music obsession.
Hosts Berly, LA, and Sadie Witkowski are your DJs for a deep dive into the Supernatural soundtrack, the show’s original score, convention music culture, and the fan and cast musicians the SPNFamily inspired.
In this trailer, you’ll hear from:
- Ben Edlund, Supernatural executive producer, writer, and director (and Ghostfacers vocalist)
- Chris Lennertz, Supernatural composer
- Billy Moran, guitarist for Louden Swain
- Nathan Ball, TikToker Turnt Tiny King
- Allison of Night Parade
