Shouting with Angels

Episode 605 Published 4 months, 1 week ago
Description

Luke 2:11–12 “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

At Christmastime, we realize once again that we have great reasons to rejoice. The Son of God, who could have come to us as a full-grown man, instead came as a baby, clothed in weakness and lying in a place of poverty and vulnerability in this world.

In doing so, not only was he identifying with our weaknesses, but also showing us that he was not offended by our struggles. He loves us. He loves you. And he had come to save us and to bring us home to be with him again.

This year I intend to shout with the angels: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men.”

It’s time to pray
