They talk about what really happened the day of the attack, the infuriating lengths the US government went to ensure nobody would find out about it and the continued effort by figures and groups in the conservative movement to shut down discussion about this heinous chapter of US-Israeli relations.

Discussed on the show:

Phillip F. Tourney is a decorated U.S. Navy Veteran, survivor of the 1967 USS Liberty attack, and recipient of the Bronze Star V and Purple Heart. Prior to Liberty, he did two tours on the USS Mauna Kea in waters off Vietnam. For his actions during the Liberty attack, he received a Bronze Star with “V” device plus a Purple Heart. He’s been President (or multiple-term President) of the USS Liberty Veterans Association.
