Vikings Claim Brett Rypien as J.J. McCarthy's Replacement
The Minnesota Vikings have added backup quarterback Brett Rypien to their roster, following J.J. McCarthys hand injury. Rypien, a 29-year-old veteran, joins the Vikings after being waived by the Indianapolis Colts, who opted to sign DeForest Buckner instead. Rypien, who spent last season and the offseason with the Vikings, has appeared in eleven games with four starts in his career.
