Af: Die somerson oor Kirstenbosch Botaniese Tuin was helder en warm.
En: The summer sun over Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden was bright and warm.
Af: Die blomme het in helder kleure geblom en die geure het die lug gevul.
En: The flowers bloomed in vivid colors, and the scents filled the air.
Af: Dit was Kersseisoen, en mense het vreugdevol op die gras neergelaai met komberse en piekniekmandjies.
En: It was the Christmas season, and people joyfully settled on the grass with blankets and picnic baskets.
Af: Bo, teen die blou lug, het Tafelberg trots gestaan, asof hy oor almal waak.
